White Lie: For example when a mom or significant other ask you if this dress looks good on them. You say yes but truly you don't think that, but you don't want to hurt there feelings.
Deflection lie: Say when we were kids and our parents would be arguing at us for something and we argue back with no true point to defend ourselves.
Facades lies: When some asks you if you are part of a particular sports team and one puts a front on to make them seem as if they were but truly aren't.
Omission lies: When we see a friends girlfriend out at a night club for instance and we see her being inappropriate dancing and kissing on another male, and never say anything to the friend.
Dismissle: One night in chico me and some friends were downtown partying till late at night. My friend that was tired and wanted to walk home, he lived four blocks away but it was 4am in the morning. I told him not to walk home and stay at my house because its not safe by yourself that late at night anywhere. He ended up getting jumped and his wallet and sell phone stolen.
Ignoring the plain facts: In high school I had a friend that was using the drug oxy-contin. At first I just thought it was recreational and a phase but didn't pay attention to how bad the using of the drug really was and my friend ended up going to rehab.
Stereotypes: Growing up in a very white area had an impact on me when I was a little kid, thinking that all
"different" colored people were dangerous and scary per-say. After growing up and meeting plenty of other people not white like me ended my stereotype on labeling other skin colored people.
Group-thinking: When I worked construction over the summer I was working with my brother and one other fellow worker. We were finishing up the day which was rapidly turning into night. Our boss forgot to give us the key and all of agreed not to call him to some how get hold of the key. We didn't and left the tools hidden behind the work site tool shed and the next morning is was all gone.
Out-n-out lies: A very long time ago me and my brother and my mom were hiking Tahoe and as we were on the trail I completly saw my brother liter his Granola bar rapper on the ground, and when my mom totally saw him do it he denied it. (we were in the middle of the woods)
Delusion: Last semester I was taking a science class, and Science is one of my better subjects. When the final came around I had a high C for my grade so I told myself I didn't need to study for the final because I already knew it all. I didn't, got a D in the class and currently re-taking the class this semester.
